As a DJ and an avid club-goer, we recently hired Panama Club for a private corporate event, and the experience was exceptional. The crew was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to ensure our event went smoothly. They were attentive to our needs and made sure every detail was taken care of, from the setup to the execution. Their professionalism and dedication truly made our event a success.

The vibe at Panama Club is absolutely electric. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a lively and energetic atmosphere that instantly gets you in the mood to dance. The lighting and sound system are top-notch, creating an immersive experience that keeps the crowd engaged throughout the night.

The club is spacious and well-designed, making it an ideal venue for both corporate events and private parties. There's plenty of room to move around, and the layout ensures that you're never too far from the action. The decor is modern and stylish, adding to the overall appeal of the place.

The drink menu is varied and reasonably priced. There's a good selection of cocktails, beers, and spirits to choose from. The bartenders are skilled and can whip up a mean cocktail in no time.

One of the worse venues I’ve been to in Amsterdam. I’m only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 cause Alyssa turned it out and all the queens on the stage were amazing.

Lockers are very small and €4 (single open only), ours ate the coin and didn’t work so we had to chase staff for help. You have to also pay for toilet which is €2. If you wanna get drinks you buy tokens and the minimum you have to buy is 4 tokens (non-refundable), which costs €18 total. On top of that they still add €0.76 service fees which is crazy work. It felt as if they were gonna charge me for breathing air.

The whole venue vibe is a bit dirty and old, overall needs a renovation. Even the stage looks worn out. Sound was okay.
There’s balconies upstairs as well as standing room downstairs. Downstairs also has these pedestal two-stair levels around the walls just like at melkweg, so if you’re smaller this is a good boost to be able to see over the crowds in the very middle.

Staff was friendly and helpful, we had no issues.

The Panama Club wasn’t particularly impressive. We bought tickets in advance for €27.50. The line was long, but we got in after about 30 minutes.

Lockers were very small - my winter coat barely fit - and they cost €4, which is quite expensive.

The atmosphere was good, with great music and light effects, but there were also many large groups. However, drink prices were extremely high, with a confusing token system. One token costs about €5, and drinks require 3–4 tokens (€15–20), while a shot costs 2 tokens (€10).

Overall, for the price, it’s not really worth it.

I have been to this club 5 times so far. The sound isn’t that loud but I suspect they have complaints from people living opposite. The space inside is ok but second room can be very squished. Smoking area space is tiny even though they have enough space that could be used. There are time limits on smoking because of the space there is a normally a massive queue. This infuriates most people in Amsterdam that like to go outside for fresh air or even to actually smoke. We travel from London and so there are certain things to get used to. Paying for toilets is a major one when not every club does this in Amsterdam. Paying for lockers is something we are used to but some people were forced to buy lockers for jackets and that is not fair at all. Lockers can only be opened when initially bought so if you need something from inside you have to spend more money on tokens. Tokens are also very expensive and thus drinks are too. Staff can be impolite and rude, rarely seen to be enjoying a day at work there. The staff seem to not manage the toilets, they are worse than toilets I’ve seen with no staff about which is ironic because there are normally 3-4 staff members waiting to collect 2 euros at the doors every time.

Atleast it has decent music played in there a couple of times a year. You just have to put up with the club and staff so make sure you’re prepared for your patience to be put to the test.

So loud, so clear, easy layout so you can't get lost, coat hangers, photo booth, acceptable toilets and the staff seemed friendly and didn't go mental with the searches.
