In love with this place! It’s super small and cozy. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Be aware the bread is so good it’s dangerous, you would leave craving more! One of the best wild duck I’ve ever had! Radicchio salad with mustard ice cream was so unique and refreshing! Will absolutely go back and recommend this place, it’s a hidden gem!

A charming, cozy and casual spot for dinner. Watergang is currently one of my favorite places in Amsterdam for no fuss, high quality food.

They offer a 5 course surprise menu which changes according to the season. Every dish is well-thought where each component is in harmony. There's no fancy chef tricks just for the sake of it. You can also ask for a wine pairing or pick something from their extensive wine menu, which includes a variety of options from different parts of the world. Since their menu changes, I can't comment on a particular dish, but from our recent visit, the most memorable plate was the sous vide pork belly with smoked eel. I never thought pork belly could be that light! Of course, there's also their pillow-soft brioche bread you just want to bury your head in.

The atmosphere is very charming with cozy lighting, soft music playing in the background. It's an ideal spot for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. We were especially happy with the service, the staff is attentive and kind, they're knowledgeable about the menu and wine. The service is also fast.

Highly recommend Watergang, and we can't wait to go back.
