Great brunch option! The Pancakes were delicious (need a better way to keep them warm). Toppings were plentiful. This is definitely geared towards families w/ children. The only downside is that the top of the boat was closed for eating. FYI, drinks are sold separately, so even if u pay in advance, you will pay one here. Also, there is an entertainment tax to be paid on board as well.

I went to the pannenkoeken boat when I was on vacation in the Netherlands back in June of 2024. I forgot to write a review but I will now.

This place was a lovely experience.  You get to have a wonderful boat trip on the river with good views of the various landmarks of Amsterdam. And at the same time,  you can have some yummy pannenkoeken (Dutch pancakes).

The pancakes themselves were self- service and there were a wide variety of toppings and condiments you can put on them.  The food was yummy but pancakes are pancakes lol.

That being said,  they were good pancakes.  I considered the real feature being having pancakes on a boat as you see the city so altogether it makes a fun experience!  Recommended for both the tour and having Dutch pancakes!

Wow just wow. You can eat pancakes at a lot of places in Amsterdam… but there are only a few places to eat them on a boat :)
Running at about 30 euro per person, this is not a cheap meal but when considering the price of a boat cruise and the quality and variety of food, it is an excellent deal.
Super touristy, super fun and super delicious.
The pancakes were awesome, the toppings were plentiful and the whole experience was very fun. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. I would definitely recommend this activity.
The location at NDSM is very easy to get to from Centraal Station (approx 15 min free ferry ride), and the graffiti art around the NDSM Werf is just something else. We had about 45 mins to kill before our cruise boarded and could have spent double that looking at more graffiti art.

Part way through the cruise the staff opens up a giant ball pit below deck and kids can play around in it which is super awesome for them. Also what kid wouldn’t want to choose their own toppings for their pancakes? I tell you, you’d never find our son’s pancake creation on a menu anywhere but he loved it :)

Fun experience with the kids, especially when they opened the ball pit halfway through the ride. Pancakes were yummy, nice selection of toppings. Coffee was not great…would suggest to get tea and get your coffee fix somewhere else.

It was a brilliant experience. The time flew by, the staff were amazing. The pancakes were cooked to perfection with a brilliant range of toppings. Perfectly reasonable drinks prices. The ball pit opened about halfway through and kept the kids entertained. Great soundtrack too!
