After buying a space cake in the Bulldog 88 down the street, I went to this place because as a woman I felt safer to have my first experience. With a friendly staff who kept checking on me from time to time, I felt very safe. The product was so good that to be honest, I'm not 100% sure if the conversations I had with them were real or if I imagined everything, but after everything, I'm 100% recommending this place, not only for the food, but for the friendliness of the staff. As someone who was alone, having my first experience ever, it didn't suck because of them. Thank you!

THEY DON'T SERVE WATER!

Terrible experience! I was drinking beer and wanted some water, and they refused, so I tried to order a coke because they have soft drinks on the menu, but they refused again saying that they only serve alchool, even though I saw other people drinking coke. I was confused and pointed to the coke and the bartender said I could only buy to drink with vodka. Besides the staff was rude.

Bulldog Mack in Amsterdam has a great atmosphere and is one of the few places where you can enjoy a joint and a beer in a relaxed setting. The loud dance music adds to the vibe, making it a cool place to unwind.

That being said, the hygiene standards are seriously concerning. Glasses aren’t properly washed—they’re just dipped into a sink, swished around, and stacked for reuse. I watched as glasses with visible lip gloss marks were given to new customers. Another issue is the handling of ice. I saw the bartender repeatedly take cash payments and then use his bare hands to scoop ice into drinks.

If anyone doubts this, just grab a seat and watch for yourself. I love this place, but the hygiene needs serious improvement.

We had a lovely experience, the bar, service and atmosphere was great. However, why am I paying for the toilet? When you come into an establishment and buy you should be able to use the bathroom freely, ALWAYS! Disappointing

I got the space cake. I get high with very little, the server guy said I could eat all of it and I’m so glad I had read reviews before. I took one bite and half an hour later took another bite. That was. Enough to have a fantastic night canal cruise. So 2 bites was enough for me
