On my last night, I was really struggling to find a place to eat as a solo traveller, and most places were full, and I had the chance of walking in front of this restaurant. It was the most perfect end to my trip, they welcomed me, found a place for me despite being very busy, and made me feel right at home. The food was DELICIOUS and unique, and the bartender gave me some amazing recommendations, for both food and drinks. I was so grateful to find this place, and had a wonderful night with the friendliest staff, the coolest night vibe, and some really tasty food! Would DEFINITELY recommend, what an experience, it was one of my highlights of the trip! Thank you so much for having me! ❤️

Had an amazing date nite w my hubby there. They do yakitori of all body parts of chicken, (liver, gizzard, vain that connects to the heart, u name it). A bit pricy (4-6 per piece) but really well cooked and seasoned and perfectly “burnt”, the sauce never failed to surprise us! As a Beijing local I confidently say it beats 99% of yakitori in Beijing. Service is just top notch friendliness, one of the few restos in Amsterdam where we willingly gave big tips. And the ambience is so lively, nostalgic 90s pop songs.
Forgot to mention: they do amazing cocktails, we drank about 100euro worth of cocktails n felt still worth it!

BEST Amsterdam dining experience! Uber friendly service by our servers Elsa & Jo; even applauded Sous Maxim & chefs. We were celebrating our “2nd Honeymoon,” and all 3 went above and beyond to make it special… Thanks for the Yuzu shots!

Yakitori menu was fun— you won’t go wrong w/any part; Grilled Avocado was appetizing; Rice Crisps + Corn Tempura stole the show! Go crazy and sip on the Kaffir Sour.

Made a reservation (not necessary on an early TUE eve) for €30 that was deducted from the bill. Noise level was just right. Beware the steep stairs to the bathroom!

We sat next to the open kitchen, and the vibe was excellent not too noisy. We chose the omakase experience and got a wonderful verity of chicken dishes, some fresh fish and a crisp lettuce salad. The food was good the pace was good and the drinks were good! If you are in the area I definitely recommend checking it out 😌🍗
