Indonesian restaurant with classic dishes and decent wines to accompany them. Flavors weren’t as strong as I’d like but they did the job compared to typical Dutch cuisine.

We were excited to eat at Samabe as the restaurant was mentioned in the Michelin Guide. Samur sandwich and Tipat Cantuk salad were delicious... but then things got very busy, people started pouring in due to the rain and we were forgotten. Bummer as we would have loved to have dessert and coffee after our main dishes. Yes, I received an apology which is appreciated but this should have been a 5 star review as the restaurant deserves one.

First time experiencing Indonesian food, and was absolutely blown away. Without a doubt one of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t overly spicy or salty. Really enjoyed the experience at Café Samabe
