Op Oost restaurant will offer a great experience while enjoying local ingredients mainly around sea food.

The place is gorgeous and cozy, with friendly service and original flavors! we had a lovely evening

Note when booking: consider at least 4hrs from the time of your reservation, so that you can enjoy the full experience with all its wonderful dishes! we unfortunately didn't plan ahead and needed to rush a bit in the end, would have loved to stay longer :)

Fantastic..great welcome. Awsome food, everything served was local. Surprise menu was unbelievable.  We enjoyed everything.  Mike's explanations n patients answering our questions was appreciated. Next time we take a room too 😁

we had the “Salty Sunday” meal with some great wines then spent the night and had breakfast.  everything was excellent and would highly recommend a stay and meal here!  we only wish we could have spent more time to have another meal but we will definitely be returning at some point!

The Kook Atelier restaurant was amazing. The food was sourced locally as much as possible and the menu is seasonal. They won’t serve anything that is not in season or that needs to be imported from a far. We did the wine pairing which was also amazing with even Dutch and Eastern European wines. Highly recommend to reserve one night to dine here.

We had an amazing dinner and stay at Op Oost & het kook atelier. Highly recommended if you are looking for an high quality dinner that allows you to taste all the flavours and fresh ingredients that Texel has to offer!
