I have been here a few times for shows. It is especially popular during ADE annually. In terms of venues, it has to be one of the top experiences in the world. It’s spacious and has great lighting and sound. There are even occasional fireworks displays inside. For a unique experience, I’d definitely recommend everyone come at least once

My goodness, you Dutchies are fortunate to have this place as a venue for loud music and dancing. Took my breath away the moment I walked into the arena, with the scale of the place and the quality of the sound.
I've been raving for nearly forty years now, and this venue goes down as one of my favourites over that time.
The conversion from its previous purpose to what it is now is a marvel, and has been beautifully executed as the structure is a beauty of engineering and the repurposing to this extent, presumably meant that it didn't end up getting demolished.

The best event venue you could wish for! We were there for ADE. There are lockers you can rent for your things and easy to bike there from the city center.

Although beautiful, this place is impossible to get right acoustically. Which is a shame.

For common modern day techno, that might not be much of an issue. But i tend to enjoy music more when heard and felt in high quality.

Non the less, it was a spectacle to enjoy a show here. Definitely worth the visit

Awakenings is the home of techno. Perfect organisation, reasonable prices, extremely friendly staff. The most pleasant party experience I have had.
