They claim to have the best coffee so you can thank them later ... so I had to try. Entering I saw already the beans of the Espresso Factory. And I know they are a bit acidic- for my taste - and that I don't like too much. More of an Italian espresso drinker. So that was also what I got. Perfect service though, nice people, really small place what gives a good vibe with some small pastries. Croissant needed a little bit more oven time but otherwise fine.

Lovely cafe with great coffee and snacks. Located within 3 tram stops west of Amsterdam Centraal, it exudes modern homely vibes in a chic neighborhood. The decaf in flat white had a good fragrance and coffee sweetness with abit of acidity for balance. The apple tart was fantastic - the tart crust was not too thick with big chunks of apples piled. That was a good bake 😊. Beware though it has limited sittings.

This was one of the best flat whites I’ve had in Amsterdam.

9/10 would recommend.

It was a smooth and sweet espresso. Particularly delicious in its own right. The milk was textured just right. They certainly know how to do latte art well! It’s not everyday you get a swan!

I had a shortbread caramel and sesame bar that was also good. Not the best of its kind, but it was tasty.

There’s not space for sitting much. A few seats and we sat on the bench outside. But it was a good spot for a short sit and drink.

We had a 6 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our friend said NU had the best coffee and grilled cheese sandwich. We absolutely agree. I had the quiche of the day too. They make them fresh including the dough. Quaint shop with wonderfully warm people.
