Modern hotel right in the middle of the entertainment, bars, eateries and cafes. No Uber or taxi needed once you arrive to the hotel. The check in process was quick and Jim provided us some food options down the street. The first milestone would be that the rooms have cold air conditioning. Also the tap water from our sink is filtered better than a common bottled water. He gave us our room card and noticed that the room was clean with a safe box in the closet. Extra towels and pillows were brought up to the room after a request. 24/7 Ice machine on the 2nd floor. Nice hotel, Nice staff, Nice location, Nice price.

Very pleased with this hotel right in the center of the medieval district of Amsterdam. The check-in process was easy and the staff were helpful directing me to great restaurants. The room was mid sized and modern. The cold air conditioning was working great and room service was quick with any request. They had a tiny gym but at least it was something. The ride services had to park one block up the street which was the only negative. Great hotel location for a decent price.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, however the smell of whatever toxic vanilla freshener they were spaying I couldn't stand to be inside. It felt like I was getting gassed. If you are sensitive at all to smells, I would not recommend. The breakfast was ok, very cafeteria style. The wellness center is pretty small. Honestly if it wasn't for the smell, I would probably think every thing was pretty mediocre. But the toxic artificial smell they have to change.

Pros and cons of this hotel The jacuzzi tub in the room was definitely unique and therapeutic after long days of walking. The front desk and all staff we encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming The room we were in on the ground level was quiet and we never heard a peek from our neighbors The location is very convenient to food places, coffee shops, grocery stores and shopping Cons We arrived early from our international trip at 9 am and was told we couldn't check in till 3 pm. I asked to pay an early check in fee but was denied. They said rooms were not ready. At 2 pm, I asked a different front desk person and was given a room (that was ready). However when we entered it was freezing cold like an icebox. I think the room had been vacant for days. Management decision to not allow early checkins even for a fee is a negative point for us. The concierge helped us turn on the heater and was helpful during our entire stay. The coffee machine in the lobby is expensive and breakfast is quite pricey unless you have a room that includes it. The shower has no door so the floor gets very wet The light in the bathroom is motion sensitive and the transparent glass door to the bedroom means you will be woken up from the light coming into the room Overall we chose this hotel mainly for the jacuzzi tub in the room

Not a terrible hotel. Definitely not the best. I'd recommend if you want a descent hotel at a descent cost in city center. The biggest issue I have with the hotel is the shower. Who the hell built this. The drainage system dose not work good . You will have water all over your floor if you don't keep an eye on it. Hotel management definitely needs to be aware of this and fix it. The staff has been great. I'd give more stars but cleaning the floor after a shower in the middle of the night definitely put a black cloud on the place

There are aspects of this hotel that are worthy of five stars, but two really odd design decisions within the guest rooms made this more of a three-star experience. First, what works: The location is great, in the center of the canal district and in walking distance to Central Station, shopping, dining and tourist attractions. Also, this is a remarkably quiet hotel--perhaps the most solid and quiet hotel in which I've ever stayed. But, here are the design decisions that may make this a decision for you: The doors to the bathrooms are translucent (meaning they let light through) and there is no light switch--the bathrooms lights go on when you enter and stay on minutes after you leave. If you travel alone, this might not be a problem, but it was a problem for my wife and I traveling together, If you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the translucent door means the bedroom will light up with bright light, and the fact there is no light switch means that light will stay on minutes after you leave the bathroom. (The timing seemed strangely variable--sometimes the light would go off two or three minutes after the bathroom is vacated, but one evening, that damn light stayed on for 20 minutes, and there was no way to turn it off!) If you want a small, clean, quiet room in a great location and don't mind your bedroom flooded with light every time someone uses the bathroom overnight, then this would be a fine place to stay. I didn't get a single night's uninterrupted sleep due to the weird design decisions in the Intel's rooms.

This was the perfect hotel for being a first time visitor to Amsterdam. It really is in the city center. Close to Central Station, Dam Square everything is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I was traveling alone and the room I had was cozy, comfortable bed, spacious enough for me to open my luggage and lay it out. Bathroom was clean and not too small. I love hotels that provide toiletries it just makes me feel they want their guests to be extra welcome. The breakfast room was beautiful. The breakfast spread was delicious from the cereals, breads, pastries, hot food like sausages, eggs, hams. Coffee machines to prepare your cappuccino or hot chocolate. The staff was friendly that I can say made my stay extra special. They were accommodating each time I had a special request for extra pillows, to help fix the TV in my room, to get me a taxi to the airport and helping me with my bags. Great service and attention to all guests. The hotel itself was cozy. Had a nice lounge/bar, rooms were nice with a small fridge, safe, provided hair dryer. Nice lobby, hotel decors it was stylish and we also got free wifi! It's a hotel that made me feel experience the best of Amsterdam being close to the canals and all the city highlights! Loved it. 5 stars!

This is a great hotel in a great location! The hotel is in the heart of the center of the city. There are tons of restaurants and bars right outside. Hema (a kind of Dutch Target) right around the corner. So much of what Amsterdam is known for is just 20 minutes or less from the hotel. The hotel is very modern. The aesthetics are beautiful. The hallway walls and tables have full size black and white portraits of Dutch people. The carpet designs recreate the cobble stone of the streets. What sold us on the hotel was that they have full-sized American king-sized beds, whereas other hotels push two full-size mattresses together. The bed was really comfortable too. Our room was really large. The bathroom was very modern with a easy to figure out shower. What stood out most to us was how nice the staff is here. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk clerks gave step by step directions when we asked how to get to a destination. In the hotel, the WiFi worked perfectly. The cleaning team called our room about 12:00pm each day and ended each call with "have a great day sweetie." I highly recommend Inntel Hotel.

Yes, the rooms are smaller... but I know that I had to reset my expectation as an American in Europe. The location is awesome (quick walk to Dam Square and the train station), WIFI and breakfast are included into the price. The breakfast is a mix of hot items (eggs, sausages) and cold variety (deli meat, cheeses, yogurt) and loads of different baked items (croissants, baguettes, danishes. ALSO there's an espresso machine... this is great for this Seattleite who needs caffeine basically pumped into my veins.
