Cute place in a convenient location. We stopped in for a drink to kill time while we were waiting for a breakfast table, but were tempted to stay for breakfast. The food looked good and people seemed to enjoy it. We tried the Belgium La Chouffe beer. The bartender was nice, spoke English, and the vibe was welcoming.

We had literally walked for miles and miles by the time we got here. A quick look on yelp seemed to indicate it would be a cool place to visit for a bit of a rest and as a bonus it also did some decent beer. It's very modern inside, everything is clean, crisp and bright. I liked the feel of the place, definitely more bar/modern café than pub. The huge red fridge's and Kingfisher sign really worked for me. It's probably my favourite bar that I visited in Amsterdam in terms of look, décor and design. The staff were friendly and quickly took our order from the beer list. I have to say I was a little bit underwhelmed by that list, but that's purely because there was only one IPA on it that I had just tried at a previous bar. I am sure for most folk the 10 plus beers they had on would be more than sufficient. Nice place to spend some time having a couple of drinks, I did not eat on this occasion, but I would have no hesitation in trying the food as what I did see going out to other customers looked really good.

Food looked good, atmosphere was nice. But no one would take our way order. Sat at a table for 40 minutes both waiting and walking to the bar to order, but both waiters simply told us they would come by soon and continued to take other peoples order while avoiding eye contact with us. Not sure what we did, but I highly recommend O'donnels across the street

I don't know how I haven't already written about this wonderful cafe:) The inside of this cafe is so relaxing, so chill and so cozy that everything about it made me stop by it 4 times during the 6 days I spent in Amsterdam. And for me, that's saying plenty:) They have great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can't go wrong with anything you pick. Good variety of beers, nice location... They also have very good coffee if you want to stop by here before you start a busy day, which is what I did:) Got some breakfast, got some good coffee and tried to plan my busy day of exploring of course:)

Cozy little bar and cafe with quick pours and good food. The bitterballen plate with gouda and pickles was superb bar fare! I will dreeeam about the bitterballen and a good belgium beer here. Plenty of draft options and an easy to follow menu. They have an outdoor seating area we couldn't take advantage of due to rain but it's spacious.

I am familiar with the neighbourhood and the tourist industry in Amsterdam and this is a place to get away from the tourist crowds and -traps. even though the heineken experience is around the block ;) first time visiting this bar with local guests and local beers. liked the menu as well. service was a little slow and unfocussed but it looked like they were understaffed. (sunday around 5) will return here when visiting amsterdam

Service is terrible. Took 15 minutes to be served. Took another 10 minutes to go get a coke. They then forgot about my beer. Keep in mind this place is empty. As for the food, it was average at best. Burger had no taste, fries were cold. Overall, terrible experience

Great place for a drink, snacks and/or dinner. The staff is friendly and it is more of a relaxed atmosphere. Been here with friends and colleagues as well as my niece and nephew (10 and 9 years old). It was a nice visit each time. There is something for everyone! During the summer, it is nice to sit outside to enjoy the weather and do some people watching!

A great neighbourhood pub among a few great ones along Ferdinand Bolstraat. Not too far from the Cuypmarket and roomy enough to fit you and your entourage of 5-10. They have a great selection of beers as well as serving up decent food. I've only ever sampled the sliders-style burger and it was pretty decent for 10pm at the local pub. The bar does not get busy until about 11 on a weekend and when it hits 11, it's like a tidal wave of people come pouring in from the street. The crowd though, is varied. You'll get some of the after-work folk (such as me on a Friday), some making it their first stop on the way to a long night out, couples, De Pijp'ers, everyone! That's what makes this place such a great venue.

My Dutchman brought me here for a Saturday night drink. I loved the place. I thought it was an ideal place to meet up with a group of friends. Nice music, drinks and very personal. The vibe is more of a young crowd but it works for people from 20-40. It's more like a neighborhood pub that's fun and relaxing place to have a drink. The layout is cool by the way. I thought they did a nice job on designing the place. I think it's one of the best place to chill in Amsterdam.
