Very nice hotel and restaurant but can you believe it ?when we arrived, We were told that the room is not available because it was mistakenly overbooked. Can you imagine we were tired after 15 km hiking and the room was not available for shower and rest. The owner suggested us another room at another hotel, which was not 4 star hotel. we had no other choice, but accepting that. The owner compensated us by offering us dinner for free. So she took us to the other hotel and in the evening she came back to take us for the diner and again in the morning she came back to take us for the breakfast. If I had the choice, I rather not be compensated  but stay at the four star Hotel which I reserved in advance with a good bed ( the other room had a lousy bed) and not moving from place to place. The dinner and the breakfast were great. We enjoyed that a lot. My suggestion is to check out before you arrive to the hotel that everything is OK with your reservation. 😉

Unfortunately I had room 35 above the kitchen. At 6:45 the exhaust turns of an every 10 minutes the "eggs are ready alarm" will clearly sound in your room. Rooms are a bit outdated, for example the curtain in my room was half loose
Prices are not excessive so all in all not bad but also not good

Had dinner here with my parents. The weather was fantastic, so we sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I picked the 5 courses surprise menu for 60 euro. Every single dish hit the spot, especially the dessert with drop sauce!

Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely come back again.

Value for money is fantastic. Location is charming in the forest, the restaurant has a nice ambience and the hotel service is good. The bar and lounge are are very cozy with a fully stocked bar. The fifth star is only missing because the rooms are a bit dated and basic.
