Very good food. Very nice environment. This is fancy, but not cocky, not pretentious. Fresh ingredients and wholesome good food. Will be back . (the village is the cutesg thing you have ever seen)

Wat hou ik van dit restaurant! Hier wordt nog echt lekker frans gekookt en word je in de watten gelegd;  je jas wordt voor je opgehangen, er staan zoute stengels met dip op tafel op je te wachten, je krijgt een huisgemaakte amuse, heerlijk brood van het huis, een geweldig 4-gangen diner van de chef, heerlijke wijn ( wijnkaart vol met mooie wijnen) en bij de koffie en thee een heerlijk schaaltje huisgemaakte amandelkrullen en bonbons. Waar vind je dit nog?! Prijs kwaliteit was top in orde ( daarom geeft Michelin dit restaurant al jaren een Bib Gourmand). De eigenaar Carel Alberts liep vrolijk in z’n witte koksbuis in de bediening waardoor het erg persoonlijk voelt ( hij brengt bij elke tafel de kaart). En het restaurant zelf voelt als een warm bad, met uitzicht op het pittoreske pleintje voor de (schuine) kerktoren. Kortom: het is hier volop genieten!

How I love this restaurant! Here they still cook really tasty French food and you will be pampered;  your coat will be hung up for you, salty stalks with dip are waiting for you on the table, you will receive a homemade appetizer, delicious bread from the house, a great 4-course dinner from the chef, delicious wine (wine list full of beautiful wines ) and with coffee and tea a delicious bowl of homemade almond curls and chocolates. Where else can you find this?! Price-quality was excellent (that's why Michelin has been awarding this restaurant a Bib Gourmand for years). The owner Carel Alberts cheerfully walked into the service in his white chef's jacket, which made it feel very personal (he brings the menu to every table). And the restaurant itself feels like a warm bath, with a view of the picturesque square in front of the (sloping) church tower. In short: there is plenty of enjoyment here!
