The Well Spa Hotel left an unforgettable impression! ✨💕 The professional and friendly staff are truly the heart of this place. Thanks to them, I felt special and incredibly comfortable. 🙏🏼✨The hotel stands out with its aesthetics and impeccable cleanliness – every detail is thoughtfully designed. I’ve visited this spa twice for the evening session (17:00–22:00). My first visit was on a Tuesday, where bathing suits are mandatory. The second visit was on another weekday, where guests could choose whether to wear a bathing suit or go nude. Both visits included a stop at their restaurant.

General Impressions

Both times, the spa wasn’t crowded, and I had plenty of personal space to relax. The selection of saunas is excellent, and the building has a pleasant, inviting feel. However, it does take some time to familiarize yourself with the layout.

The outdoor pool is enjoyable but could benefit from a slightly higher temperature. While there isn’t much to do after a couple of hours, the evening session is still a great choice for a relaxing experience.

Restaurant

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the vegan and vegetarian options are excellent. The pizzas were just okay. Prices are reasonable overall. However, the service left a sour note. Despite arriving 25 minutes early for our reservation in an almost empty restaurant, we were asked to leave and come back later. When we returned, the restaurant was still mostly empty.

Additionally, the staff’s language could be more welcoming. Instead of polite phrasing like, “Could you please leave your towels outside?” we encountered phrasing like, “It’s not allowed. It’s prohibited.” While this didn’t ruin the experience, it could certainly be improved.

Practical Information
•	Towels, slippers, and bathrobes are provided.
•	Bathing suits must be purchased on-site, but you can keep and reuse them for future visits.

Overall, the spa offers a relaxing experience with excellent facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. While the service at the restaurant could use improvement, I still recommend checking it out. If you’re planning a visit, I suggest opting for the evening session for a peaceful and enjoyable time.

This is a review about the spa, not the hotel.
Great variety of sauna which were at the right temperature when we visited and never too crowded, except for aufguss which is expected. The staff was nice, competent and ready to help.

Our experience was not completely positive tough. There are not enough showers, especially on 1st floor. We struggled to find a place to relax between attractions. All beds on 1st floor were taken and some occupied by people leaving their towels there. And if you do not have access to lounges (hotel guests and members), it is basically the only place with beds. Besides, the area is very loud and crowded. It looks like they haven’t made the best use of the space available.

Overall a nice experience, but we’ve visited better spa.

The service was excellent…all the staff was friendly and helpful. The spa area was huge, clean, modern, and inviting. The spa services were excellent as well. I would recommend staying at the hotel for the 3 night package…It allows for early access to the saunas and pools and to take your time to explore.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, staff friendly and helpful.

Stopped for 5 blissful days, allowed us to wind down and de-stress. Room was brilliant. Yes, there was no TV, but you don’t need one, this was a complete digital detox, and I have to say this is the first time I have lasted so long without checking the phone and computer , and it was so good, will have to try and do it more often.

Food, snacks and drinks at the pool area, the brasseriet and Mori, were all brilliant. The breakfast buffet was great, large choice, covering all tastes. On the last day had to check out early, hotel helped organize transport, and put together a breakfast that we could take with us.

Pools, saunas, relaxing areas were clean and perfect. We did several rituals, great fun.

Had no issues with robes or towels missing, and even if someone took the wrong one, just got another towel or robe, at no cost.

A note if you do use the bus to go to Oslo, you need a Ruter card to travel on the bus. Ruter.no

The Well is a brilliant hotel, the staff excel, and the facilities are wonderful. I have read a lot of the reviews on Google etc., and I cannot understand where the negative comments come from, all I say is, don’t believe everything you read.
