If you're headed out this direction to sight see, it is certainly worth the stay here. I think a 3rd night would have been nicer to truly enjoy the venue. The staff were all very warm and friendly and accomodating even with my 13 month old. The dinner experience was very very good at showcasing and elevating Norwegian food and far exceeded my expectations for a rather low-key hotel resort.

Absolutely stunning location. Charming staff, cozy communal breakfast and dinner services. While the room had a beautiful view, it was extremely tiny and the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable. While not perfect, still very worth checking out overall.

Absolutely incredible and uniquely beautiful place with great service. For us though if we are paying $700 a night to stay somewhere we would like a few more amenities in the room like being able to have a cup of non-instant coffee without having to go to the lodge.

Stayed at the hotel in September! Views were breathtaking from the room. Loved the concept of bringing all hotel guests at dinner for a lovely fine dining experience where you get to enjoy the amazing food and socialize.

Definitely will visit again!

I stayed here over 6 years ago and have traveled extensively. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to find unique stays in nature that highlights local food. To this day, Juvet still remains my top stay ever. It’s very difficult to describe, because it’s not just one thing that makes Juvet stand out; it’s the entire experience and atmosphere that makes it top notch. Is the what the Scandinavians mean by the word Hygge? An indescribable comfort and content?

Juvet balances luxury and utility, nature and man-made, social connection and seclusion so perfectly. The intention put behind everything is unparalleled. One of the best parts: the food is so good, I still dream of the blueberry sorbet made using the wild blueberries picked on property. I will be back again and this will remain a place I forever cherish.

And 6 years on from our original stay, while we plan to return to Norway to explore a different area, I  was again reminded of what a beautiful and special place Juvet it and felt compelled to leave a review. Keep up the amazing work!
