Excellent train ride stopping a couple of times on route to get out and take photos, making the most of the views. Staff keep you  informed of how long the train stays at each stop, and passengers are asked to swap sides for the way back so everyone has the chance of a window seat on the side with the most views. You do need to buy tickets in advance as the train is very popular, especially if cruise ship is in.

Fantastic views all the way with interesting historical commentary, highly recommended for a relaxing few hours with a short 40 minute hike, if you wish.

The Arctic train is a really good way to see some amazing landscape, as long as you're on the correct side of the train. Some people may be willing to switch with you on the return, but the train does not turn around. The brief stops are fine for snapping a few photos.
If you're limited on time, this is a really good choice. I'm not sure how well the three stops would work for those who are mobility impaired since the step down from the train is a little high

The arctic train takes you on a 2,5 hours trip with a fantastic few and stunning scenery. The staff is friendly. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are included. The train is a few years old, so don‘t be surprise by the tight space for your legs.
