This park is a hidden gem in Oslo! You can easily get there by tram, and it takes time a bit but once you’re there, it’s a beautiful place for a peaceful walk. The park is full of sculptures scattered around, which makes exploring even more fun. Plus, the views of the city from up there are amazing! Definitely a great spot to enjoy nature, art all at once.

I had never visited this place during my previous trips to Oslo, but after discovering a new light installation on social media, I decided to check it out. This park offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city, and the sunset is breathtaking! The tram stop is located at the foot of the mountain, but if you fancy a bit of walking, it takes 30 minutes from the city center. Strongly recommended!

A park in a forest, lots of things to do and see, wander through the forest, several attractions and sculptures, a restaurant, and amazing views of Oslo. Visit the official website to check the arrangements as there are various events and changing activities.
Walkable from city center or Old Oslo (Gamle Oslo) neighbourhood, but there's also public transport.

Amazing hike which is incredibly close to the opera and central part of the city. It is not to extreme and fairly short to get to the top where there is a restaurant. We went after a snowfall and there were some slippery parts, however it was incredibly beautiful for that reason. The statues are pretty cool, there is also some cool trails between the trees for children to play and a pixel art installation which was also an unexpected but very cool surprise.

A sculpture park with easy access by tram. Wish the weather was nicer, for there are woods in the park, it would have been a nice strolling in the woods. Well it was actually drizzling (welcome to Oslo!)
Also here you can have a nice panoramic view overlooking the harbour and the fjord.
