There are two things to know when considering Girotondo.  First, and maybe most important, MAKE RESERVATIONS.  This place is really popular and it’s difficult to get seated without on especially on the weekend.  Second, the tables are large communal tables so you’re going to be sitting next to people not in your group unless you have enough people in your party to take on a full table (I’m guessing 14ish).  If you’re looking for something more intimate for a smaller group you’ll want to consider that.

Food-wise, they make some damn good Neapolitan pizza with wide ranging toppings.  They’re meant to be portioned for an individual, but they’re pretty big so even the most hungry of people will leave satisfied.

The staff is amazing and are really passionate about making your experience the best.  We understand why this place is so popular.

One last tip.  Girotondo is split into two levels.  The restaurant is on the second floor while the bar is on the first.

We had reserved a spot at the restaurant which we recommend doing beforehand.
Big shout out to Martina, who made our dinner experience a delight. It makes a huge difference when the service and waiters are nice and having fun. Makes everything else really good!
Pros:
- Pizzas are delicious, it is definitely one of the best in town.
- Tiramisu is really good too
- Service is great, the lady who seated us with short hair was fun, accommodating, and Martina

- Very minor feedback, It's a bit crowded with people and loud

It was delicious! Our pizza arrived really quickly and they were fresh, tasty, not too salty or too filling. It was a perfect experience. The room was a bit noisy though.

For sure one of the best pizzas in Oslo! Maybe the appetizers were a bit too expensive for being just appetizers, they all had main courses price. So we skipped them.
But the pizzas were good with a Neapolitan-style dough. We tried different ones and they were all very tasty. The tiramisú is also highly recommended.
The service was professional, multilingual, casual, and pretty fast.
In a few words this place will hardly disappoint you if you’re looking for a tasty, authentic, and with good quality ingredients place. Recommended!
