I rarely leave bad reviews. Just seems to have no point in it.  But I had to here. First the place is nice inside and clean. Service was OK, but zero enthusiasm came from the staff. It could be better and more engaging. The kicker was the pizza. Ordered the BBQ, chicken and bacon pizza. Very little chicken, and the real downer was undercooked bacon. To say it was a major failure is an understatement. We will not be returning to this place.

Yonas Pizza in Tromsø offers a decent dining experience. The food wasn't bad, with their basic deep-dish pizzas being quite satisfying. However, the service was average compared to other places in Tromsø, where service tends to be better. Despite this, I would still recommend giving yonas Pizza a try if you're in the area and craving some classic pizza.

I visited Yonas in Tromsø last winter and ended up going back a few times during my stay. The pizza there was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and a perfect crust. It quickly became my go-to spot for a satisfying meal. If you’re ever in Tromsø and craving pizza, Yonas is definitely the place to visit!

The restaurant was cozy and fresh, but as Finnish tourist (first time in Norway) I was not familiar with the system of choosing the table first. Guy at the counter was not so happy about that and seemed a little rude or at least bored. He send us away from queue to choose table though I asked if he knew the number of the table what we were pointing (nearby). He said no. He had the table map laminated in front of him.

And the food? Well.. I did not realize it was pan pizza, but that does not really matter bc pan pizzas are ok. If they are ok.. These reminded me of frozen pizzas like Grandiosa.
I may be used to exremely good pizzas in Finland but the crust had absolutely no taste. It was obviously a minimum effort, yeast raised no-knead dough with minimum sugar/salt. (In Finland these ”a-little-better” pizza restaurants always serve sourdough pizzas.)

Anyway the toppings on the menu seemed interesting but nah.. My salmon pizza was not that bad (the crust still was) but margherita pizza was like straight from freezer and held too long in the oven.

Even the coke barely had bubbles. And I drink sodas like once in a year so this was a disappointment all the way.

Only positive thing was that there were 3 size options from which I chose the small one.

25 minutes for cooking. The taste of it is just average. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy.
