En liten restaurang, där du kan ta en paus under besöket på slottet (som varar några timmar). Erbjudandet är inte mycket rik, personalen är OK, layouten är OK. Inget utöver det vanliga. Ett bra ställe.

Efter att ha besökt slottet och katedralen i Wawel stannade jag vid Trattoria Wawel för en paus, och jag hade Tiramisù: det var inte det ursprungliga italienska receptet, snarare en lokal tolkning, men det var mycket bra ändå. Servicen var mycket bra, priserna var höga, utsikten över katedralen och slottet var ovärderlig.

Riktigt trevligt ställe framför slottet, maten är fantastisk och de säljer traditionell polsk eller italiensk så om polsk mat inte är för dig så finns det alltid ett alternativ men jag rekommenderar rödbetor och dumpsoppa och sursoppan. För var det ligger trodde vi att kostnaden skulle bli dyra men det är väldigt rättvist i jämförelse med andra delar av staden.

Vi stannade till lunch medan vi besökte slottet. Jag valde att ha kycklingnudelsoppan. Det var ok men lite vattnigt för min smak och följde sedan upp detta med en citron maräng stil efterrätt. Ursprungligen var tjänsten lite långsam men när vi hade beställt försökte den unga servitrisen verkligen hårt och jag kände faktiskt lite ledsen för henne. Hon talade inte bra engelska men det här är Polen och jag kände mig faktiskt generad över hur några äldre engelska besökare som kom in som en grupp talade till henne och blev frustrerade när hon inte förstod dem. All kredit till henne för att förbli artig. Den största överraskningen för oss var de rimliga kostnaderna med tanke på dess plats.

Jag trodde att jag inte kommer att hitta en anständig vegetarisk mat alternativ i Wawel slott. Tack och lov hade jag fel. Lunchmenyn hade flera veg alternativ. Jag spelade det säkert och beställde sallad och margherita pizza. Det var bra. Jag hade uteservering. Fredlig med fin utsikt!

Restaurangen är i mycket bra läge. Bredvid utgångspunkten vid flodbredden. Bra service och mat kom snyggt snabbt. Måste rekommendera svamp risotto! Bästa någonsin ätit. Priserna är ganska låga (20 euro för två måltider och drycker) eventhough dess i den största turist platsen i Krakow, maten är utmärkt och visa / atmosfären är fantastisk.
