Interesting museum showcasing the original foundations and roads of the original buildings that used to exist in the main square.

I enjoyed walking down the long corridors through what used to be paths between the old buildings.

A nice gift shop at the end of the tour too.

If you like archaeology or medieval times, this museum might be for you, otherwise it's better to invest your time and money in another attraction. The museum is quite technological and interactive, but I think the order of the visit is not the best, for example the excavation part (with some spectacular photos) should be at the beginning and is almost at the end (I understand that it is because it shows the excavated areas, but it makes the visit easier to understand if it is shown at the beginning).

I found it interesting but as I said, if you are not interested in archaeology it is better to go on the day when it is free. It gets crowded so buy your tickets in advance.

Like others I think it was done the wrong way around!

We spent half the time not knowing what it was about.

They should turn the exit into the entrance. Otherwise it’s done well and the second half was great!

Quite an impressive museum with lots of interesting details. Some places were a bit poorly lit cos of which it was hard to read. Also translations of some of the texts and acts would have been good. Overall a good experience.

Impressive modern underground museum below the central square, with lots of exhibits about the city's medieval history, and walks through actual foundations of the old Cloth Hall market which were excavated recently. There are interactive exhibits, short films, and several activities for the kids. Everything has English labelling, although some is hard to read due to low lighting.

If you buy a ticket online, you only get a reservation and have to go and collect your ticket from the Krakow Museums office on the west side of the Cloth Market building, before proceeding to the museum entrance in the NE corner of the building.

Overall recommended.
