A delightfull place to visit, combining both the old architecture of the monastery and the more recent museum area. There are stunning areas of worship where objects are displayed and a large collection of paintings reserved for the more modern area. Only a few euros to enter a great place to spend time. Breathtaking! The monument itself is astonishing! There are two main parts, an art exhibition and the monument and  all the history related to it. My favorite part was definitely the Church. It's impossible to describe the beauty of it!

An amazing place you can't miss if you visit Aveiro. I recomend buying the tickets not only to these museum also to some churchs and other museos, which is cheaper if you get them all at once.

Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful place. A mix of contemporary art and a preserved convent in situ, your ticket can get you into the other cathedral as well. Highly recommend

Impressive former convent, with some incredible gold-leafed rooms that were formally chapels and the like. The €7 entry ticket also allows you entry to another gold-gold-gold church place across the road. Be aware that - while the name of the museum ("Aveiro Museum") sounds quite general - the whole collection is virtually all to do with religion (Catholicism) and the former convent's history, so if religious history isn't your thing, then this place won't be either.
