Amazing experience to see what's inside of a submarine. Has some explanation attached to different areas so that machinery and compartments purposes are clearer. You can also look into periscope. Very exciting journey :)

amazing to have a feel how tight is the live inside of a real submarine. Just to visit, it brought up my inner fears of tight spaces, especially imagining that 65 people could live in that space, under the sea, with no natural light. the explanations are simple but very effective, and conservation of space is outstanding. nice work.

The submarine visit is spectacular, our kids and us parents had lod of fun.
But: we wanted to pay by card. The staff at the entrance told us that the card terminal is broken, and we needed to pay cash. We did not get any receipt, nor ticket, ans were told simply to go inside the submarine, the machine checking the tickets was turned off.

As someone who is interested in the history of conflict and the vast array of vessels involved in such, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across an Albacora-class submarine that has served in various theatres for a number of navy’s. The experience was informative and a stark reminder of the cramped and claustrophobic conditions that submariners operate in. All of the instruments and compartments were detailed, and you can even look at the praca do commercio through the submarines periscope like a hunter stalking its target on the high seas. Great experience and not too expensive at €4 euros per person.
