Each plate was wonderfully constructed- one of our favorite meals on our 2 week trip! The Donut is a must-order, but the shrimp omelet was truly perfect. We hope to be back in Porto someday to visit again!

Second visit to Mito, 2 years apart. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily got a table outside. It met all our expectations. The experience was top notch from start to finish. The service was nice and timing was great. The concept is to share which allows you to share plates. We ordered the salty Bola de Berlim which is one of my favourite starters ever. I could just have that for dinner but we also tried several other plates like sea bass (our favourite from the mains) and octopus. Desserts kept the level and didn’t disappoint.
I truly believe this restaurant is on the road to a Michelin star. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Porto. We will be making a visit again, soon!

Fantastic meal - interesting savoury bola de berlim - the star has to be a version of an arroz de marisco - their monk fish and shrimp rice - very delicious 😛

We decided to come here on vacation after reading about it online and seeing the decent reviews. Sadly, we missed the more recent reviews.

The food here is mediocre and overpriced for the portion size, comparable to what you would pay in NYC. The best dish was probably the carrots, which were sweet and savory. Everything else was over salted/seasoned, though the individual components were good (eg the croquette themselves were delicious but the sauce on top literally tasted like a block of salt, and the sea bass was well cooked but again, had salt flakes on top for some reason). The food portions were pretty small. There was a charge for tap water as well..

Not sure if the food has gotten worse or the kitchens were having an off day. The table next to us actually told the servers to stop serving the rest of their order after 2 dishes, so I don’t think it was just us.

Of note, service was great and the servers were very friendly. They didn’t charge us for the croquettes after we asked if it should be that salty, and they said it was slightly saltier than regular.

A fine dining experience in a cool  sharing plates way with amazing food. The staff was very nice and welcoming and what we appreciated a lot was that the waitress suggested for the two of us to get 4-5 dishes without us even asking! Totally recommend!! 🥰
