Visited the caves today from the top, and I must say, the view is absolutely breathtaking. While exploring the inside requires a paid adventure tour (which is reasonably priced), the view from above alone is well worth the visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to take in stunning scenery and appreciate the natural beauty of the area!

I went on a Monday mid-September and there was ample parking. I walked the various trails across the cliff and I recommend bringing good walking shoes and 2 litres of water/Gatorade and being prepared for 2 hours. The beach is full of algae, which smells really bad. The caves are best explored by boat. I opt out of doing the boat excursion because I also did Ponta da Piedade which is more spectacular.

Amazing experience and a fun water activity! There are plenty of excursion companies offering this service for 15-30 euros per person. Keep in mind that to get to this cave you can either kayak but have in mind is in the open ocean. If you're not in good health condition to kayak for 1-2 hours, I wouldn't recommend it, but do a boat tour

Great views and refreshing to be out at sea to see what wonders it has to offer.

Amazing boat ride it was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly. Our boat trip included food and drinks on a beach and to view this wonderful cave.
