This place is a beautiful little gem in the small streets close to Leiria. It started with cold cuts and cheese both where next level and you could take as much as you liked. But save some space for the main. I got the baby goat, it was cooked to perfection. Also have a look at the cod fish dishes. Of course finished with one of the hundreds of the finest whiskeys.

We had a great time enjoying lunch at this restaurant with our family, we didn’t have a booking but they were able to get us a table. The staff really made the experience special by taking the time to explain the various cheese and meats, the sommelier also gave us personalised suggestions for wines to try from the different regions. Everything we ate was delicious but I really enjoyed the duck and rice. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area, it made for a unique experience from start to finish.

I made a reservation for my family of five through the restaurant’s website but never received a confirmation email or call. Concerned, I phoned 30 minutes before our scheduled time to check. Unfortunately, the woman I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite explaining our situation, we were given no clarity or assistance.

After driving all the way from Fatima, we arrived to find out there was never a table reserved for us. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of communication – no one bothered to inform us that the reservation hadn’t been processed or honored. A simple call or email could have saved us the wasted trip and frustration.

I’m sure the food and atmosphere are wonderful, but the lack of basic hospitality and the poor attitude we encountered over the phone leaves a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope management addresses this, as customer service is just as important as the dining experience itself.
