Advertised as the "secret bar" of Lisbon, but not really a secret. Very nice place, with good art and atmosphere. Not really a restaurant, but more like a bar where you can enjoy little plates amazingly cooked. Everything we ordered was amazing, bu portions are little and prices pretty high. Good service, even if sometimes they missed few of our requests.

I feel like this place gets a bad rep for being expensive. I personally thought it was worth the price. I had a great time and I went by myself. Mini bar can get kinda loud but that’s part of the atmosphere. My waiter was super helpful and attentive I had to tip him very well  for recommending great foods and drinks. It was $145 for just me not including tip. I thought that’s was worth it and about what I expected to pay. I had the best octopus in Lisbon here as well as steak and truffle fries. Chefs kiss that was exactly what I wanted to pay for. I think my tab was high because I had 3-4 drinks to myself. It was a great way to end my last night in Portugal. I will definitely come back next year.

It is a unique place with fantastic food.
It's an exciting concept and an excellent design worth trying in Lisbon.
I was with friends, and we enjoyed a night in the “Mini Bar.”
Before you go there, you should know who is staying behind this restaurant/bar- the guy who owns 2 Star Michelin star restaurant - Jose Avilez.
He owns several restaurants in Lisbon, and the quality of his food is very high.
The guests could order a tasting menu (6 courses) or choose the “a la card” option.
Whatever you choose, read the intro.
We went for a la card, and it was terrific. The taste, presentation, and service were top-notch.
There was also a musical performance and DJ, so you could even dance after you were done with food.
It's highly recommended!
Keep in mind the portions are small.

This restaurant is beyond amazing very unique, funky, and food is excellent. The atmosphere and vibe was fun yet because it’s a small venue intimate as well. An added bonus was the entertainment later in the evening! If I lived in Lisbon, I wouldn’t recommend it because I would be afraid that I would never be able to get a reservation. I recommend you book well in advance.

We'd heard great things about Mini Bar and managed to snag a reservation - definitely book ahead for this place. Getting there was part of the experience. They actually led us through the back of three different restaurants before we arrived at this funky door that opened into Mini Bar.

As soon as we stepped inside, we knew we were in for something special. The vibe is totally unique - they've got these quirky chairs that are surprisingly comfy, and there's this huge painting of Dita Von Teese that you can't miss.

Now, let's talk food - it was unreal! Our waiter, Denys, really knew his stuff and his recommendations were spot-on. Those exploding olives? I could've eaten them all night. Seriously, trust the staff's suggestions here, they won't steer you wrong.

We didn't catch any live performances (apparently that's a thing here), but I can only imagine how fun those nights must be. The whole atmosphere just buzzes with energy.
