Really cool space featuring shops, cafes, and restaurants with so much cool art and music. You can visit in under 30 minutes if you're in a hurry or you can linger and take in the subtleties. Very easy to get to via public transit.

Lots of interesting independent stores and cafe  style bars/restaurants but was generally underwhelmed. However we did buy some unique clothes and classic canned fish! The highlight was the US Axe throwing bar which was huge fun! We visited during the afternoon and I guess much more lively and fun at night. Pretty young crowd. It was however worth a visit:-)

Beautiful and fascinating place, you can find anything and everything; the ambiance and decor are amazing, even the products sold in these stores lives you with wonder. Absolutely recommend if you like to wander around and discover while having nice food available nearby.

This used to be some old factories, but now has been reinvented as a hipster hangout and opened to the public. What was once an area of industry is now a vibrant bohemian place. All around you'll see some street art.

There's are boutiques, including a bookshop at one end. The shops are mostly on the creative, artisan and one of kind side. On a Sunday there's a flea market where you might get a good deal.

There's a number of food and drink options.

It's not quite underground culture, but it's a nice place to visit for a different side of Lisbon. Maybe not a must to go to if you have a limited number of days, which is mainly why I gave it a 4. 4.5 is probably exactly right as a rating.

Absolutely amazing place!
lots of shops, inexpensive and just great, lots of things to see, if you are visiting Lisbon, as a foreigner, this might not be the most Portuguese place in Lisbon, but I really enjoyed the place. You guys will love it, however, be prepared to see more foreigners than locals!
