Staying here for our honeymoon has been simply amazing. All the staff are more than happy to help you in any way and have provided the best service. We had dinner at the restaurant and our server Tanvir was the best! He even helped give us recomendations and told us all sorts of tips to getting around portugal. Also the Bar Staff were equally amazing and definitely gave us a great experience!! I would definitely reccomend Mamas to anyone!!!

We had an absolutey wonderful time at the Mama Shelter. The staff were friendly and extremely accomodating. The bed was super comfy and the shower was AMAZING. The rooms are a bit small, but we weren't in Lisbon to hang out in our room, and honestly, it had plenty of room for us and our things. It was well thought out with plenty of plugs as well, which is a huge issue for people who have to travel with medical equipment. The only thing I would warn travellers, is that it's probably not ideal for young ones. It has a definite adult vibe with loud music in the restaurant and some s@x toys for sale in the lobby. It is not ofputting or distasteful at all, but may raise some questions from the kiddos. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!

Great location with a lovely design and style throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the stay pleasant. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wonderful start to the day.

The only downside was that noise from outside easily came into the room, which affected the overall comfort.

Amazing Stay with Incredible Vibes!

I recently stayed at Mama Shelter Lisbon, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. The decor blends modern elegance with classic Portuguese touches, creating a stylish yet cozy environment.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and stunning city views.

The location was ideal, within a 5 minute Uber ride distance of great restaurants, cafés, and historic sites. Plus, the on-site breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries, local cheeses, and excellent coffee to start the day right.

Staying at Mama Shelter was such a treat—I can’t wait to go back! The location is perfect; I could walk to most of Lisbon’s highlights right from the hotel. The room was cozy but had everything my friend and I needed, and we never felt cramped. I loved the playful decor and the modern bathroom, especially the steam in the shower—it’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

I arrived a few hours before check-in, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me early. Every day, I’d come back to a spotless room with fresh towels, which was a lovely touch. The staff really made the experience special; they were friendly, helpful, and always up for a nice chat, which made me feel right at home.

Mama Shelter has a great vibe, especially with the rooftop bar and the cozy indoor bar. The cocktails were fantastic—unique and well-made, thanks to the talented bartenders. And since I’m American and always need plenty of water, they made sure I had bottled water whenever I asked, which was a lifesaver. (𝘭𝘰𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘮𝘦)

I can’t recommend this place enough. From the location to the staff to the little details, everything made my stay truly memorable!
