We went here from a recommendation from a friend, and I am glad we did.  Reservations are highly recommended as they fill up quickly.  As we arrived at our table, we had bread, cheese, olives, and sliced meats.  Each has a cost associated with it, so let your server know if you do not want something.  My husband had the lobster soup, which was flavourful and elegant.  I had the creamed leek soup, which was light and delicious.  We split the seafood platter, which was filled with fresh Portuguese seafood.  Oysters, 2 types of crab, prawns, lobster, served with lemon and mayo.  They have an extensive wine selection.  Finished the dinner with double espressos.  Reasonably priced for the food and excellent white glove service. Will be back to try some of the other menu items.  Credit cards are accepted, and upon reservation, a credit card is required to secure your spot.  Great for a special occasion.  English is widely spoken.

We have been around in our 10 days trip to Portugal and eaten in many place, but nothing touches this one. Dishes might be pricey, but very generous and so delicious. Kitchen that you can see and hear is run like a very well oiled machine. Servers are very friendly and professional. Decor of the restaurant is amazing and done by a very professional company/individual. I wish I could point out some negatives because they always matter to me, but I can't find any, and I'm a very picky person. Highly recommend this place, but you should consider reservations to make sure you can gat the seat.

I really wanted to like it (but didn’t).
Be prepared for a long wait on a weekend.

Waited one full hour to get seated. Another 15 mins after seated for water and menu to be given.

Yet another full hour gone by before main was served. Net total of 2 hours.

Despite the long wait, food was disappointing - tried the octopus and lobster-shrimp rice, with flavours lacklustre. The only saving item was the cocktails.

Service was also mediocre, despite being a mid to upscale restaurant, with staff seemingly overwhelmed by the weekend crowd.

Net, there may be better options in Lisbon to consider.

The food and service were impeccable. We dined as a large group of 10, and everything we ordered was delicious. I wish I had a bigger appetite to try everything on the menu. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. We also loved the restaurant's vibe; you'd never guess its size from the humble entrance. We will definitely return when we visit Lisbon again.
