The One Palácio da Anunciada has everything you need for a city trip to Lisbon. Excellently located, outstanding service even for a 5-star hotel, and excellent facilities in a renovated ‘palace’. Particularly worthy of mention is the extremely warm welcome, the high level of problem-solving (room moves, forgotten items, taxi bookings, etc.), and the constant friendly attention. The breakfast is indescribable, both in terms of the service team (around Madness) and the quality of the a la carte dishes on offer. Some luxury hotels in the world could learn something here. However, it should not go unmentioned that both the gym and the spa are significantly below par and do not do the hotel justice. They are both simple and far too small. As I said, this is not so relevant for a city trip. In short: I would go back to Lisbon any time, and always at

We had an exceptional experience at your hotel from arrival to departure. Your staff welcomed us warmly and ensured we never hesitated to ask for anything.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered an amazing variety of choices.

The location is ideal—close to the center yet nestled in a quiet neighborhood.

A nice hotel with very decent service. Entrance from a (dirty) side street isn't the most attractive.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Lack of some of the staff's professionalism was more than compensated by their effort.
Beautiful hotel interiors and spacious, clean rooms. Very comfortable beds.
The courtyard is nice as well.
The restaurant is nothing special, but definitely not bad. Breakfast a la carte was nice.
Generally a good nice 5* hotel in Lisbon.

This was a good choice for us in Lisbon. Very centrally situated in a busy city, yet a haven of peace and quiet. Our experience here in every way was superb, from delicious breakfasts in a beautiful setting, to a bottle of Espumante and chocolate cake left in our bedroom for my wife’s birthday. Attention to detail was first class, and staff always polite and helpful. We will certainly stay here again on our return to Lisbon.

This is a magnificent property.  The restoration in every space of this former palace was done with incredible attention to detail.  The ceilings from the lobby to the bar to each breakfast room are all breathtaking.  So are the chandeliers throughout.   The staff is so professional and welcoming from the bar tenders to the wait staff at breakfast and the concierges like Ricardo and Emerson all went above and beyond to help us with any request.  Ricardo actually ran half way down the block to get us a reservation at very hot restaurant.   So impressive!    The rooms are wonderfully appointed.  We had a larger room with a separate office area which was perfect for me to work undisturbed.   The bed and sheets and towels also wonder.  The location is perfect.    Just a few steps away from the action of downtown but an oasis of tranquility and luxury and so quiet inside the palace.     And the welcome cocktail and tapas for each guest is just an extra nice benefit that the hotel shares with guests.   I looked at so many hotels in Lisbon and feel so lucky to have picked this one.   No doubt the best hotel in Lisbon!
