Historic tower from 1520, included in the UNESCO list. One of the biggest attractions in Lisbon. You can reach the tower, for example, by tram. There is a large park, several restaurants and a parking lot nearby. It is worth seeing the towers at sunset. During the day, you can go inside.

Beautiful place, especially during sunset. We went there on 14th of October, Monday at around  17:30 - 18:30 and it was not too crowded so managed to take some nice photos. There are toilets close to the tower (0.50 € per person).

Buy tickets in advance and then you only need to stand in one line. If you forgot, buy them online on the spot. The wait to get in was cca 1.5 hours (open air standing). The tower offers an amazing view of the river and the architecture around it. Be sure to take a cruise also up on the river so you see the tower from there too.

We came after late lunch nearby and surprisingly, a very short queue and we went in within 5 minutes. The architecture was magnificent. Simply mind-blowing. Would recommend to purchase tickets online as limited visitors at each time slot.
