We had an absolutely outstanding stay at Les Suites. The room was perfect - we were staying for our honeymoon and were upgraded to the master suite which was amazing - it was absolutely immaculate, lovely little touches in the room, the most comfortable bed, amazing shower. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was perfect every morning. The spa was great. It's a little bit of a walk from the centre of Funchal, but the bus stop is right outside if you don't fancy a walk, but loads of places to eat locally too, and hire cars to get about the island. We cannot fault Les Suites at all, absolutely amazing stay - we loved every minute.

This is truly a 5-star hotel. The location is fantastic with free parking, the suites are new and very nice, and the service is impeccable. We dined at three of the restaurants, all of which had nice food. The breakfast is very good—well-selected, delicious food with a beautiful view. The infinity pool is wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful time at a wonderful location. Besides all the professional amenities, the fun access to the water, etc. mostly the stunning service and the good vibes of all of the staff made this vacation iconic! Many thanks!

Magnificent hotel situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. My wife and I were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, and had planned a week here in one of the duplexes. A week before we arrived, hotel management informed us that there was an overbooking and that they would resolve it by upgrading us to another, larger suite. This room had an even better view and more privacy, so we were happy to accept it. They also kindly offered us half-board for the duration of our stay to thank us for accepting the changed itinerary. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but this experience ranks among the best I've ever had. Incredible service, friendly faces, delicious food and drinks on property, and attention to the most important details during our stay. I appreciated the speed and painless nature with which they solved our overbooking problem as well. Our stay could not have been any smoother. I cannot think of a better place to stay on this island. 5 enthusiastic stars out of 5. Bravo.

Amazing - in every sense. We enjoyed a duplex suite with stunning views. The infinity pool on the top is breathtaking. Perfect service by entire staff and the dinners at Avista restaurant are gorgeous.
