Absolutely brilliant hotel in Funchal!
The location is amazing if you want to stay in Funchal. You're directly in the city center and walking distance to all good restaurants, buses and experiences.
The staff was just fantastic - special shout out to Sid who was so lovely and gave us great recommendations!
The rooftop bar and pool area is also stunning. Great way to relax after the hikes.

Just one thing to mention: Because the hotel is in the center of the city, you do hear the traffic in your rooms. For us it wasn't an issue because we just had ear plugs in during the night.

All in all 10/10 and highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Madeira.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed by Sid, who made us feel very welcome and helped us with bookings and a lot of things about Madeira. The hotel itself has amazing services and the location is very calming. We stayed for 2 weeks and don’t regret a day. Very friendly staff and our rooms were cleaned every day. Special thanks to Sid for helping us through the 2 weeks.

Our 1-bedroom apartment is clean and spacious.  We enjoyed the view and hanging out on the rooftop bar but they only serve their own special cocktail drinks. We also enjoyed their fresh pastries that delivered to our room in the morning.  Miguel is super friendly and helpful.  As we were driving a van, we had to park in a nearby parking lot. The location is superb which is close to everything.  When checking out, we got a box of very delectable chocolates. Thanks so much Miguel, we had a wonderful stay.

I live and work in Funchal and I often use three house as a work spot. I’ve been coming here for almost a year.

Overall it’s ok. The food is meh (the beef tacos are quite good) and you’re paying London prices for food that isn’t really on par, but the staff are nice the coffee is good, and it’s convenient because you can park there for free if you eat/ drink there. So an ideal set up for doing a few hours work and get breakfast/ brunch.

You know you’re paying for the decor, which is really tasteful, but it’s convenient and you’re having a good experience so you keep coming… Until today, when I was told that after spending €10 for two boiled eggs and a slice of toast, my parking couldn’t get validated because I needed to spend €20. Something that’s never happened in the year that I’ve been going there, and more or less ordering the same things each time.

You’ve lost a long term customer, but perhaps the focus is on one and done tourism and not the local people that will support a business long term.

only went to the roof bar but it was great. The service was excellent, the cocktails lovely with a great signature menu. there was love jazz when we went which was fun and there's also a 360 degree viewing spot if you want to see more of the city or get a photo
