Good and cozy neighborhood restaurant in Porto. The food was tasty but in my opinion a bit average and overpriced. The Marinated Scallops on an avocado cream, and the Prawns à Bulhão Pato were good but not for the value of the dish. The “Prego” steak sandwich was excellent and full of flavour. The grilled octopus was good but too much mash potatoes. The creme brûlé was good but i didn’t expect to be really cold. This is not fine dining, but just a cozy and comfortable place to eat well. Service was excellent and friendly. The wine 🍷 list is a curated local collection.

It’s more like a 3.5 to me.
The staff were very nice, though not very helpful as they could barely speak English and explain stuff.
Food - some items much better than others. We took the famous Cod dish with the “olives” and I thought it was ridiculously salty. My partner had it before and Lisbon and mentioned that it wasn’t like that. Though I understand that this might be the way they serve it, there should be some kind of a warning.
Beef tartar with NY chips was actually brilliant - the combination of basil, vinegar and light touch of paprika gave the chips a flavour I never tasted before.
The bread basket and dips were brilliant too.
We had some of the Chef’s wine which we quite enjoyed.
Dessert selection mostly surrounds chocolate but not with a lot of texture variation -  mostly mousse like.
This entire meal was the most exp native we had in Porto, which was still not a lot, but in relation to flavour and service, quite disappointing.
With so many fine restaurants in town, not sure I’d be back.

We walked in a bit late for lunch (around 2:30pm) but got a table directly and the restaurant was still full of customers.

The service is very friendly, they answer your questions and give recommendations.

The atmosphere is also nice and the food is good. It’s a bit pricey for the quantity but overall the experience was great.

We didn’t know the restaurant’s reputation before so we didn’t have high expectations, which made the experience better!

I liked the food, but the service seemed forgetful and subpar. Certain items on my bill were double charged, and some people seated shortly after me waited forever to even see the menus. Good kitchen, but business wise it doesn’t seem like this place has its processes figured out. Pickled scallops were very good.
