A wonderful stay at a luxurious hotel in the heart of the city. What made this stand out was when checking in, the front desk noticed it was my partner's birthday and surprised us with champagne and a cake on the right day. Wow, great service and attention to detail!

Overall, as you'd expect, the rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious (and with a surprisingly good variety). We didn't get to try other meals but they looked great.

Throughout the stay, the staff were very attentive and helpful.

I highly recommend a visit and we'll definitely be back!

I want to say thank you to all people who work in this hotel, without any of you it would not be same.
Supper impressed with every single experience in this hotel. High quality standards in every detail is so satisfying.
From the door man to the general manager just incredible services.
Everyone so well chosen and put together, 10+ to management and owners for being able to have this people work there, train them this way and you can tell they all enjoy and appreciate what they do.
As guest of this hotel we enjoyed so much stay and very happy to make this choice.
Looking forward to visit other locations as I cannot agree to any other services as you set very high standards.

One of the best city hotels I have stayed at in recent years. The historic hotel has been beautifully renovated, the rooms were spacious and modern, the breakfast was expansive and delicious, and the service was world class. My wife was sick for the duration of the stay and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. We will return, 5 stars.

My husband and I traveled with our 10 month old daughter to Le Monumental, and we had the most incredible experience.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was so accommodating to our daughter, particularly the doorman Adymir, the staff at breakfast, and the morning shift at the check in desk.

They were so kind to provide a beautiful treat for our room when we checked in, along with sweet keepsakes for our daughter. During breakfast, they provided a bib, plastic cutlery, along with a plate, spoon, and cup. We were also able to order custom meals for our daughter. They were so kind and considerate.

We won’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to other families! It was a gorgeous home away from home.

Truly 5 star experience. The Hotel was beautiful, the location is fantastic; walking distance to many sights, restaurants, and shops. The thing that sets it apart is the staff. The concierge was very eager to assist and make a reservations at a restaurant that was really good and the beverage director at the bar was fantastic as well. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Nest time I'm in Porto, I will stay there for sure!
