The space is gorgeous and the lighting is great. But we left the restaurant very disappointed followed by a hard digestion. Not a good sign when the dishes are covered with (processed-flavour) sauce.
It is an expensive restaurant and it is not worth it. The service was poor and the atmosphere between the staff was tense.

On this Thursday evening mid September 50 happy guests were welcomed by very alert staff members.
The room was gorgeous, food was good (likely better when not all guests has to be served simultaneously), staff all smiles.

Truly amazing dining experience at Oficina, lead by Inesh and Ricardo this evening where food and art meet in unison. The food and service were amazing.

The Redoma Vinho Branco from Douro was incredible, Crème brûlée, creamy, nutty. The sea bass with risotto and tuna loin with parsnip purée were both mazing, must visit!

The reviews on the incredibly choppy, unrefined service are true. Nobody greeted us when we entered, the person serving the wine only could say it was “a typical Portuguese wine,” the server forgot to enter our mains so we waited another 30 mins, we had to keep asking for water refills, nobody asked if we wanted additional drinks, and we had to ask for the check twice. It’s a shame because the food is pretty good and atmosphere is sophisticated. I’d go back if there was no other option and reluctantly.

Overall, I had a good night : I was in outstanding company in a very nice looking place.

But don't go there for food 😅. It was actually rather bad. Some dishes were so salty that even strong aromas like truffle were completely hidden (if not completely forgotten, I still can't quite decide on that one). Technically, that's a failure 😔.
Also, service in a gastronomical restaurant  also normally includes a pedagogical function. The dishes and the wines are supposed to be explained to the client, not just put on the table with a sober "this is the first dish" or "this is red wine" 😅.

I however have to give the place the credit of a wonderful setting. Industrial, clean, warm. Nice. The wines were also quite nice, they would have been a very good match for the dishes, had these been better prepared.

To sum up : disappointing. A lot of work is needed to actually deserve its mention in the Michelin.
