Restaurant started off on the right foot and the food service was originally very quick. However, for some reason when it came to the tacos, it took forever. My fiance was probably able to finish his food twice back to back. He even waited to see if my tacos would come and just ate his food cold because it took so long and it never came. At some point we just decided to cancel it and pay for the rest of the food that did come. When we brought the attention to the waiter, he kind of brushed it off and helped other customers with his back toward us. You can tell he was trying to get us to wait longer but at that point we were just completely done. And when we asked to cancel the tacos, they acted surprised about the whole thing.

The chips were decent. Drinks were okay. Service could be better. I would skip this restaurant honestly. Nothing really stands out and I wouldn’t visit again because of the service.

So I quite enjoyed my experience at Carnal. It was fairly empty when we got there so the servers were quite attentive but as it filled up the service did drop a bit as many of the comments say. The food was very flavorful and fresh. We really enjoyed every dish we had and the desserts were great. I definitely think it's worth trying. Would have given 4.5 stars

This Mexican restaurant in Lisbon, recommended by Bib Gourmand Michelin, was a cool experience. Could not reccomend enough. Our Mexican friends recommended it as true authentic Mexican food and it was amazing. We decided to let the waiter choose our meals with his recommendations and it did not disappoint. Everything was top tier, tuna was fresh, spice level was perfect and all well thought out. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!

The food is incredible here. Some unique items with the food that includes insects. Absolutely love this place.
