Our stay at Santiago de Alfama was nothing short of extraordinary. If you’re looking for a place where hospitality is professional, warm, and truly above and beyond, this is it. The staff made us feel so welcome and ensured our experience was unforgettable.

I had planned a surprise proposal, and the concierge team went above and beyond to help make it perfect. They arranged everything seamlessly—from a relaxing spa treatment and hairstylist to a talented photographer and an incredible Michelin-rated dinner. To top it off, they surprised us with an upgrade to the best room in the hotel, offering stunning panoramic views.

This experience is one my fiancée and I will cherish forever. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I look forward to returning next year.

I’ve had the best experience at the Santiago de Alfama, I came to Lisbon for 2 night for a quick get away and starting with the check in to my breakfast next day, everything outstanding.
The staff were so welcoming and available to anything, I had a bit of cough and was kindly offered ginger tea , very thoughtful.
I went to the beauty bar and had the best massage , felt so relaxed and set a perfect vibe for my stay.
For dinner I had prawns with mango and it was OMG .. delicious! Also watching a live jazz show that set the environment to a such great atmosphere.
Bedroom up to highest standards, very cozy and comfortable. Nice and hot shower and a lovely private garden view.
Highly recommended and I will definitely return!

A beautiful hotel and a great choice for anyone that enjoys unpretentious luxury in the old area of a city. We stayed for 4 nights in different styles of rooms which were all lovely, the view from the river view room on the 4th floor was very serene. It’s in a great location with loads of shops and restaurants round the corner as well as the 28 tram stop just down the street. The service at the hotel was excellent, everyone was so friendly and Wendy was particularly wonderful. I can see why breakfast is award winning, the French toast was a highlight and we particularly enjoyed all the music choices in the bar and restaurant!

This hotel is truly a gem. The general atmosphere of the common area & the design of the rooms are super cozy yet designed in a stylish manner. The road in front of the hotel is a private road so from that angle it’s pretty quiet without too much noise from the street. The staff in the hotel are beyond kind and help you with anything you could possibly need. And the food!! The food is incredibly good. I personally want to thank the master chef Thiago César who prepared my delicious room service meals daily. I ordered room service every night for my dinner as I enjoyed it so much and the service was pretty fast. This hotel is also right next to the Santa Luzia view point where you can see beautiful views of Lisbon. I can’t recommend this place enough for your next stay in Lisbon.

Such a beautiful hotel! We wish we stayed here a few days longer before flying out! Started great with us being checked in by Martín who was very friendly and pleasant. Started off by pouring us a glass of water and even offering some sherry. He then gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us the Roman stairway on the second floor. Amazing and a must see while staying there! He showed us to our room and even gave us a tour of it. He even gave us a great dinner recommendation that was probably one of our favorite meals of our trip! We booked a small bedroom for two and it was so spacious. Everything was so comfortable and quiet. The breakfast included was delicious! We’re glad we had a chance to eat there before flying out. The hotel is in a great location. Miradouro de Santa Luzia Is only a few steps away and Tram 28 runs along the next street. There’s a kiosk area nearby that sells beer and wine so you can drink with a view and people watch. Would definitely stay here again!
