It's nice that the lobby has been renovated. But the utilities system needs to be addressed as well. The tap water is yellow, and the rooms smell of sewage. The ventilation is noisy. We need to invest in infrastructure repairs.

Firstly , about rooms. All rooms condition was terrible,,, also we got some of food and drinks. But I am a pilot working for a private jet company and I made a reservation to stay at the hotel. When we went to pay the bills after leaving the hotel, we saw that we had paid for the drinks we had not had and that the meals we ordered were incomplete. Even though we objected, they still took the money and were very rude, not even listening to us.

our room toilet  had leaking and we didnt know the reason and when we contacted the construction to figure out whats happening the didnt know also and then the manager of the hotel came and said that we should pay 20000rub for the damage that was unknown from what and started blaming us for it and ((((((((((threatend us to either call the police or pay))))))))))) what kind of manager is that?????  and he also said that it happend because we were showering on the toilet floor as if we were monkeys eventually we payed the 20000 because it was at 31dec at late night around 10-11pm and the new year is coming and we missed it because of this problem.we stayed at this hotel last year aand it was good but this year it was the worst and  hopefully next year we will never consider coming to this hotel again

Great hotel, affordable price, close to the center and surrounded by coffeeshops and restaurants..

Let's start with negative.. rooms must done maintenance and toilets is super old and need to be done immediately.  Location is not close but walking to Red square at least 20 minutes.    Metro station is near by so its good news for some . I did request connecting room but no one gave me one until I was asking for 2 days in a row . So keep in mind it's not easy to get one even if they promise you.

Positive part: staff is nice and specifically concierge team amazing and super helpful.  AC is working fine in my both rooms . Note its not belong to Marriot anymore so it's new chain.
