If I could give 6 stars, I would. What a pleasant experience all together. The barman was treating us like guests in his house, and then was preparing cocktails with such devoted approach that I just sat and watched. Cocktails were also excellent, I went for two "winter" cocktails. Prices are also reasonable. And they play music from vinyl records, what a touch!

Enter through the door at the end of the alley. You’ll know which one it is because it’s illuminated by either a green or red light. Green means they have seats available; red means they’re full for the night. Once inside, you’ll hear the sound of Boston shakers tossing back and forth the perfect libations to take you back in time.

They’re doing it right. The service is spot on. The bartenders’ passion for providing exceptional hospitality and making good cocktails is literally palatable. It’s something you feel just sitting in the room, breathing.

I must admit it was a great experience, we were truly enchanted. When you arrive at the location you will enter a narrow street and there is no sign for the bar. If you see a green or red light on a door you are in the right place. Green means there is an empty seat, red means it is fully occupied. The door is locked, you have to call the number on the door to get in and they will open it right away. The service was incredible.

The bartenders were very professional. I left my choices to the bartender and I can say they were the best cocktails I have ever had.

The atmosphere fascinates you. It was forbidden to take selfies or photos, they want to remain private and mysterious, which I think is a good tactic. You should definitely try it when you come to Belgrade!!

Semi-secret bars with great cocktails and fantastic service are apparently a thing in Belgrade, and I kind of love it. In a dark alley, Druid is hidden behind a nondescript entrance door, where fortunately, we were let in after following their instructions.
Inside, we were greeted by a cozy little bar where you really felt at home. The waiter and bartenders were super friendly, served really good cocktails, and occasionally came by with complimentary shots - nice touch.
At Druid, taking pictures is not allowed - which I found out after taking mine (WOOPS) - and I actually really like that. People become more present when they put their phones away. The only negative thing I can say about the place is how smoky it was. But this is Serbia - so it’s to be expected.
Definitely worth a revisit! 5/6 stars

This speakeasy bar has a really cool concept with the outside light system. Green = we have space, red = fully booked, sorry. You can book in advance which is recommended. We did enjoy our time in the bar but could not relax like we did in the other speakeasies in town (strongly recommend Riddle Bar and Belgrade Cocktail Club).

I didn't know about the no photos rule and after being essentially jumped on by two bartenders after snapping a quick pic, it really made the experience awkward and uncomfortable. So what if someone wants to take a photo in the bar? It's a bar for adults who can do what they want for goodness sake. They said the reason was because they wanted to preserve the idea of being discrete and the oldest speakeasy in Belgrade. We begin to think the idea was quite valid until they revealed they'd been open since 2015... really? We spoke to a group of girls in another bar who had been to Druid the night before and said that they were allowed to take photos and post on Instagram which was interesting to hear. Regardless, for the sake of making paying customers feel uncomfortable and awkward, perhaps it should be less of a rule and maybe more of a subtle suggestion?

We had one drink, which was tasty. One of the drinks should have been shaken with more ice so was on the watery side but again, it was nice. After one drink and feeling out of place, it was time to call it a night. The bartender also didn't seem to have an extensive knowledge of cocktails. When we described our taste as he recommended, he simply started naming classic cocktails instead of saying "leave it to me" and making something unique like they do in Riddle and BCC. Many have had great experiences in this bar so don't be perturbed by one review. Just wasn't for us. We don't like being told what to do when we are enjoying a drink on holiday :)
