This place was suggested to us by our tour guide and I definitely agree that it was indeed a great suggestion! The decoration was great and it seemed like an old medieval tavern. We tasted some local traditional Slovakian dishes and all of them were really tasty and the prices were extremely good. The only thing that was a bit weird was that all waiters are far from smiley almost looking angry but I think that’s just the Slovak way as all waiters normally look unfriendly and impolite. However definitely recommending this place!

If you’re in Bratislava, even for a day, you have to come and try the food here! It comes in generous quantities and the taste is simply amazing.
The atmosphere is also great and the staff is super nice.
Definitely try the ribs and the cabbage soup!
We loved it so much, we came back the next day. ❤️

This is a great restaurant for a special occasion. The atmosphere is elegant and the food is delicious. I had the pork knuckle and it was cooked to perfection.
They also serve great beer.
The service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

Tourist recommendations are off chart, and it turned out to be great. Authentic Slovak, with hearty portions and warm service. I loved the rustic wooden hall and thick tables. That is how an authentic eating should be done. The staff spoke English and she helped me to make the right choices. Started with garlic soup in a bread bowl, mains was potato cheese dumpling melting in mouth and ended with a local poppy seed dessert. You'll have way too many good options. Highly recommended.

At first, we didn’t expect much since it’s a popular tourist spot, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and we left happy. The goulash was rich and flavorful, and the tripe soup was amazing, definitely worth trying if you’re open to something different. They serve authentic Slovak dishes that are well-made and satisfying.
One of the highlights is exploring the restaurant itself. There are different sections, including a bakery, each with its own charm. Make sure to walk around and take it all in, it’s part of what makes this place special.
The only downside was the service. While our server was efficient and got the job done, he wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it would have been nicer to feel a bit more connection or warmth.
If you’re looking for a similar vibe but with better value, try the Slovak Bar. It’s run by the same owner, has the same menu at lower prices, and feels cozier.
Overall, we really enjoyed the Bratislava Flagship Restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and unique setting make it a great place to experience Slovak culture. Despite the small issue with the service, we would still highly recommend it. It’s a memorable spot that you shouldn’t miss if you’re visiting Bratislava!
