Spectacular views from the castle, a lot of beautiful places to see. I like the Danube view most. A bit windy on the top, otherwise really nice place to visit even during winter time.

If you are in Bratislava this is a highly recommended short trip. It is a very easy bus ride from the downtown. At the end of October we had a beautiful day with no crowds. It is worth taking the longer route around the castle and hiking the stairs to the top. Read all the storyboards along the way - they are informative. The ages of the various phases is something impactful. Very much worth the trip.

A wonderfully restored fortress that has 2000 years of history. Excellent views including all the way back to Vienna!!  Easily reachable via the 29 bus from the Bratislava waterfront along the Danube. Currently offers an exhibit on Soviet era border security and Slovak resistance.

Devin Castle visit was an unforgettable experience! Perched high above the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers, the views from the castle are breathtaking.
Don’t miss the Maiden’s Tower, which adds a touch of legend to the site. You can visit middle and upper castle both. It’s a little walk up-to the castle. You can have also amazing view of town. You can buy tickets at window on entrance.

Devín Castle is by far the most beautiful castle in our area... sorry, if you use your imagination and imagine what it looked like before the monstrous Napoleon and his improvements to the appearance of our magnificent castle by firing cannon balls.

There are wonderful views from there. You can get there by public transport from the centre of Bratislava or by car, there is a large car park. There are various events with historical themes. The place is suitable for families, romantic walks.

If you go there every few years, you can see a visible change in restoration, access to some parts, improvement of lighting, roads...
