The landscape is beautiful, but I’m not sure if it's worth climbing to the top of the city. There are not too many things to do here, to be honest. Fortunately, the entrance was free. If I were the mayor, I’d push to make this place more attractive.

The castle rests on a hill and can be seen from all over the city. It's a short uphill walk to get to the castle. Most people of moderate fitness should manage it but the route may prove difficult for those with accessibility needs. The gardens are free to enter wander around. You can get great views of the city from this location.

All around a cute castle, nice gardens and a huge exhibition! Great deal for the 7€ student price. However, the exhibition itself was a little boring- and a lot of objects simply don’t have any signs or other information. Also, the English and German translations seem to have been done with google translate(?!) making them difficult to read and quite frankly- weird.

We visited for the Medieval Christmas Market, which was a really nice change from the regular Christmas markets, the atmosphere was great and it was very cool to see the craftspeople using traditional techniques. The castle grounds are also impressive, especially the Baroque Gardens, and the views over Bratislava are incredible. We didn’t pay to enter the castle as we had limited time, but the grounds are definitely worth the walk up the hill!

I personally love the view from the castle it’s really beautiful and you can see the whole city from up there. I recommend going there. It’s free to enter the area but If you would like to go inside the castle,it’s paid. Inside the castle are some nice pictures and drawings, which are going to be explained. Feel free to explore!
