Nice local beach with clear and crisp water. There are multiple stairs going into the water so you don't need water shoes to get in. The beach is clean, the city is beautiful and the people are polite and welcoming!

After the Portoroz Central Beach full of concrete, this place looks much better. If you come early, there are plenty of places to hide in the shade under the pine trees. The beach is clean, there are toilets (you have to pay 50 cents) as well as paid showers that nobody uses. The sea is nice. You can park your car in the parking lot around a 10 minute walk away. You can use the EasyPark app to pay for the parking. So if you are looking for a decent beach with good accessibility, choose this one.

Many people, big stones, cold sea in august ....temperature about 20 degree C, windy and sometimes a more insects. But Izola is very nice town, beatifull streets, local small port, excellent cycle routes. Good atmostphere at night too. Nice old boats. It is a pity of crowded beaches and cold sea. Have a nice holiday !
