This place is right at the heart of Old Town, so it's very accessible, but I imagined that the parking would be far.

I made a lunch reservation and got their lunch set which was a carrot miso soup, a very tender fried duck leg, and a homemade brownies with fresh berries and sauce (cranberry sauce?). And it was only €18!

The place is very nice, and wait staff are very friendly, and the service was prompt and relaxed. They definitely deserve that Michelin recognition.

- Poor or even bad service and not polite
- the atmosphere of the store with pickled tables certainly does not represent the prices of the store.  we literally couldn't fit to go to the bathroom.

So lovely we came back for a second visit! Big thanks to Milan, who served us - he  was very knowledgeable about the fantastic Slovenian wines on offer, and made perfect suggestions to match our dishes and our tastes. The food was sensational - especially the octopus carpaccio, the venison, and the beef spare ribs. Book here when you visit Ljubljana!

Excellent restaurant with a responsive and friendly server. It apparently was a new menu. Key highlights: the monkfish, langostine and apple starter, celeriac main, cheesecake and the cocktails and wine. Casual in nature with excellent cuisine.

For lunch, hard to do better value-wise. 18€ gets you three courses - when we went, green pea soup (very refreshing even when warm), either fish or meat (both very well-prepared and flavorful; the mashed potatos with the beef cheek being particularly rich), and a small dessert (brownie with raspberry coulis). Some local affordable wines by the glass as well. Service was fine, nothing amazing but nothing offensive.

At this price worth walking past other restaurants in the town center for a nice meal.
