"Exe Lev is a great hotel! The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of variety, the beds were super comfy, and our room for three was spacious and well-maintained. The only downside was the limited number of lifts (only 3 for all the rooms), which sometimes caused a bit of a wait. Overall, a great stay!"

Before we traveled here weeks before we reached out about having our dog and was there anything they needed from us. We were told about the service charge which we expected.
Once we try to check in we are given our room and go up. When we get to the room we realize they gave us the wrong room. We paid for a castle view with tub. We were given the opposite of what we reserved.
We went down stairs to point out that we were given the wrong room. Only to be told we were put in that room due to us having the dog. We were told that the room needed carpet for the dog, which we pointed out the room we were put into had no carpet. We told the front desk that if they wanted to keep us in that room we want a refund. They proceeded to tell us that we would have to go through the third party we booked with. We then told the front desk we booked through the hotel website so they should be able to issue it. Finally we were placed in two other rooms, why we had to move the second time we were not told.

The rooms were very run down. Molding on the wall was falling off, splotches of paints were everywhere on the wall, and stains on the carpet.

One of the elevators was shut down so there was always a line for the elevator. After waiting for 10-15 min we usually took the stairs.

We had breakfast one morning and the area was overwhelmed with people. There were not enough tables or space to get food. It was so overwhelming we decided to skip it altogether the next day.

We expected better from this hotel but the professionalism and the state of the hotel was very disappointing. Especially since we asked for one thing and was given a complete other then when asked there was confusing or no answers.

This hotel used to be amazing 6-7 years ago. Felt new and everything was as expected. However, this year 2024 Dec, felt things are a little tired . However, Neza in the reception was amazing . He was every helpful and always had big smile on her face . View is amazing from the top

We recently stayed for three nights at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and they gave us some tips on what we could do in the meantime. Once we checked in at 2:00 PM and went to our room, we were initially positively surprised. However, after a day full of activities, when we returned to our room, I noticed the following issues:

The kettle was broken and didn’t work.
Turning on the lights was very complicated, and we often ended up leaving the lights on when we left the hotel, as it took about 10 minutes to get everything turned off.
The separation between the bathroom and the room could be improved. The curtain often got in the way when exiting the shower and sometimes became wet, with a bit of water spilling out from the shower. We had to place a small towel in front of it.
The bedspread or blanket was EXTREMELY rough, and my partner and I kept wondering why our elbows were always red and felt like we had grazed them.
The toilet paper wasn’t replenished, and we had to ask for more, but the cleaning staff didn’t want to give us any.
There was no hairdryer, and you had to bring your own.
BREAKFAST:

I was really looking forward to the hot dishes, but they were ALWAYS cold and could only be eaten cold.
On Sundays, there seems to be a staff shortage, and there were too many guests. At times, we had to wait 10-20 minutes to get a glass, as everything had run out.
Often, full glasses were simply taken away from us, even though we hadn’t finished yet.
PROS:

CLEANLINESS AND ORDER:

They could clean daily if you put out the sign.
They clean very well and always made everything fresh.
ROOM:

Good mattress, you can sleep very well in it.
They have a really nice shower, and shampoo and shower gel are provided.
BREAKFAST:

There is a wide variety of sweet and savory options.
Despite all the listed issues, I expected more for 4 stars than what we experienced.

I would rate the hotel a 3.7.

I have mixed experience with this hotel.

Lobby and breakfast place are very nice. Breakfast itself is really great. Staff is nice, professional.

But rooms… rooms are extremely small, even if you are alone. Bathroom was actually in the rooms with shower cabin and toilet “room” separated by very thin walls from the rest of the room. And everything looked dated…

And elevator also. It was very slow, only 2 working. Sometimes it took 10-15min to get from or to my floor, when you count in waiting for it to arrive and all the stops on the way.
