Restaurant Strelec truly impressed me. The dishes were beautifully presented, with innovative flavors and impeccable service. Did the 9 course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Literally the best meal and best dining experience I’ve ever had. Phenomenal food and wine and amazing service. A must when visiting Ljubljana. When can you eat a meal in the archer’s tower of a castle at a Michelin Star restaurant? The Michelin Star restaurant in Dubrovnik was closed, so we are glad we had reservations here.
We brought my 8-year-old and she had the 5 course tasting menu. She LOVED it. Kids will do fine if they are well-behaved and adventurous. Thankfully, my daughter is both of those things and even ate the beef tartare. I did 7 courses with the wine pairing. The Slovenian wines were impressive, the service was exceptional, and the dishes inventive. We especially enjoyed the amuse bouches and dessert. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Amazing restaurant! After reading the reviews on google my expectations were really high, but the restaurant really deserves it. The food is of highest quality and taste, you will really enjoy. In addition, the location is stunning and the service is on a very high standard. Highly recommend.
