We keep coming back to this place for one reason only: Ajda, the world’s greatest waitress. Luckily, they’ve also got killer burgers and delicious beer 🍻:)

We dined here on one of our first nights in Ljubljana and we had a mixed experience. The menu was extensive and had a lot of options which was great! We ordered a salad and a cheeseburger and some fries. They were pretty busy, so service was a little slow (understandable). When my burger arrived, I noticed it was fairly pink inside. As I got closer to the middle of the burger, it was very rare - I’m usually a medium rare burger person but it was too pink for me. I asked if they could cook it a bit more, but they said they couldn’t because it already had sauce on it. They also told me how to order a burger (by specifying the done-ness, though nobody asked me when I placed my order) and they explained that by default their burgers come out medium. I wouldn’t call my burger medium, though, and I didn’t feel comfortable eating the rest of it which was very sad.

Unfortunately, this used to be a very good burger place to stop by just outside of Ljubljana on the way from the highway, but the offer has declined while the prices have gone up.

First of all, there's so much burger competition now that you have to say where your meat is from. For this price, I expect top notch quality (local, organic, aged in-house etc.).The current quality of burgers is 7-8 euros max. Along with a side of fries and a small beer, the bill will run you about 25 euros per person, which is criminally expensive for what it is and especially considering the non-central location. Absolutely terrible value.

The selection is meagre and while some flavour combos are fine, others don't make much sense. We also haven't seen any specials, like you do in some of the other craft burger places in the city. You should update and expand the menu with some more exciting items.

The DIY exterior functioned at the previous location but is completely out of place with the new one. Getting nicer umbrellas and some greenery would go a long way. Perhaps this is a temporary solution and they will replace it once they settle in. I hope so as they used to be real "vibe" which I hope they are able to reinvent here.

If you want to charge this much you need to improve. I would have given it two stars but I'll ad an extra one in the hopes they get better, as we love to stop here on our regular drives to Ljubljana and will give it another chance soon.

The best burger in Ljubljana for sure!
It is big, delicious, fresh and full of different mixed flavors. Bread is tasty and meat can be medium or well done. The price is from 6€ to 8€ so that is ok!
I tried Johny burger with fries and souce and my girlfriend took salad with chicken on top.
Everything was perfect and delicious so I give it a 10.
Can't wait to try other things as well as beers that they offer in this retro stylish place.
