I've been longing for a great seafood dining experience, so when my husband surprised me with a trip to DAM boutique hotel & restaurant, I was ecstatic.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful. Very nice rooms, clean bathroom, comfortable beds -- and I'm a person who typically doesn't sleep well in a hotel. I slept like a baby.

A big plus is also a big and secure parking space. You can't easily get that in this area.

Our experience in the restaurant downstairs was unforgettable. Incredible food from start to finish. I appreciated some of the courses that were even a bit strong on the "seafood". After talking to the chef, he explained how they're trying to push the limits and I enjoyed every second of that experience. Delicious!

And if you're staying at the hotel, I truly recommend having breakfast as well. It is beautifully prepared and you'll be having it in a nicely decorated bar.

My wife and I had an outstanding stay in this very stylish hotel with Michelin Star restaurant.

We had the opportunity to know the owner and creator of the place. He is very friendly and tried to fulfill every wish we had. When he speaks about his work you can feel his deep passion for his job and he does it really well: From the concept to the design (music, smell, materials, style etc.) over the delicious food (we had breakfast only).

I would recommend this place for every couple who is seeking a “special & romantic night” for two 🌹.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as well as ate at the restaurant. Both were absolutely 5 star experiences, and I’d love to go back.

Uros is a Michelin-starred chef but also the person who operates the hotel, and is excellent at what he does. We used the hotel as a home base for doing day trips around the area, and he helped arrange winery visits, grappa distillery experiences, and even canyoning.

For dinner at the restaurant we did the long menu with wine pairing. It was a great way to learn more about local Slovenian wines from regions like Brda and Vipava Valley. Especially loved the seafood courses.

Excellent accommodation and an even better restaurant. This place was one of the stops we had planned, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The XL degustation menu and wine pairing were personally overseen by the head chef, Uruš. The exquisite and flavorful dishes, intriguing wines, and elegant, gentlemanly ambiance made for a memorable experience. Breakfast, prepared by the chef's son, was equally outstanding.

Great experience all around! Worth a visit when you’re in Slovenia.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and the facilities are excellent. The restaurant easily deserves its Michelin star, with local seafood on the menu and local wines on the pairing. The breakfast is nice as well. The owner is kind and friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions for the next stops on our Slovenia trip.
